Each semester, families are expected to pay fees for each child attending the Islamic School of Fort Collins. The fees pay for individual textbooks and workbooks that are each student’s books to keep. The fees also pay for supplies, upkeep, and expenses that arise throughout the semester. The fees for each child are as follows:
-
$100 yearly for Islamic Studies and Arabic Studies or
-
$50 Islamic Studies yearly or
-
$50 Arabic Studies yearly

-
Children are expected to have an appropriate snack each Sunday. Candy and soda are not appropriate snacks. Please remember that children will be at school for four hours each Sunday.
-
If your children are unable to attend school, you are expected to call or email the principal in advance. If your children are sick, you must contact the principal before the end of the day that Sunday.
-
Children are expected to be prepared to learn every week with all of the materials expected of them - - this includes any assigned homework.
-
Children who are prone to bathroom accidents should be sent to school with a change of clothes since we do not have extra clothes on hand at the masjid.
-
Families are expected to clean-up on the day they are assigned. Each family will be assigned to four cleaning days a year. Please refer to the calendar on the website in order to find your assigned cleaning. If you are unable to make it to your assigned cleaning date, then it is YOUR responsibility to find a replacement for your date.
-
Each week, a family will be assigned to act as a substitute in the event that a teacher is unable to attend class and we are unable to find a substitute teacher. The substitute will be given a lesson and all necessary materials for the class session.
-
Each family is expected to understand and abide by the three strike policy. After three strikes within a school year, your child will be asked to leave the school for the remainder of the school year. Strikes include the following: missing an assigned cleaning date, missing an assigned substitute date, being absent from school, continually failing to complete assigned homework, or continually arriving late to school. You will be given written notification for each strike.
-
All students will be provided with a textbook and workbook. If they lose the books, it will be your responsibility, as the parent, to pay for a replacement copy.
-
You are expected to understand that the Islamic School of Fort Collins, as well as the Islamic Center of Fort Collins, are not liable for any accidents involving your children.
If you do not agree to the aforementioned expectations, please contact us. If we are unable to work out an agreement about the Code of Conduct, it may be in the best interest of you and your family to refrain from sending your children to the Islamic School of Fort Collins. We are unable to have participants who are unwilling to complete their share of the school. It is important to remember that we are all working to serve Allah and better educate today’s Ummah.
Jazakum Allah Khairun.
